Without Doug Mirabelli?

The fact that the Red Sox needed to reqacquire Mirabelli should tell you something. Not too many catchers can catch a knuckleballer effectively. When they initially traded him,I was shocked. How can a team be so dumb as to trade the personal catcher of a Yankee killer,it was a bad business move-Loretta could've been acquired w/o Mirabelli. Flaherty wanted no part of the job and the guy they did get has so many ped while catching Wake. That's like bringing in a lefty specialist and he can't get out the guy he's being paid to(ie:Myers vs.Ortiz) As a Yankees fan, I was happy but couldn't understand the reasoning behind the trade. The Red Sox front office really had to swallow a lot by re-signing Mirabelli. He's still good for a HR here and there. I'm glad to hear that you will root for Wang, he's something else--the real deal.
