Would this be a suitable community for my aquarium?
Your tank (uming you have a bio-filter of some sort) will go through a cycling period, which can take anywhere from a few weeks to a month. After you've got a sufficient colony of nitrifying bacteria to handle the current ammonia/nitrite load, then you can add fish. You can only find this out by doing water tests, which most aquarium shops are willing to do at no charge. As for your selection of fish, they should be workable. One exception might be the angelfish, which can grow larger than a silver dollar coin, and that's not counting the fins! They can sometimes get a bit territorial as they grow, so it might pose a problem with some of your non-schoolers (gourami). Make sure that you don't add too many fish at once, to avoid an ammonia spike which could wipe out your tank.
