I just scooped out my chimney what else do i need to do?

If you just "scooped out" your chimney I imagine you had some heating or pilot light problems. What was happening prior to you scooping out the chimney, what are your concerns? If it was a draft or pilot problem I would recommend having the chimney professionally swept out and inspected for leaks and or cracks. Venting gas appliances is a very serious issue and a chimney must operate properly otherwise somebody could die. If you don't know what you are doing or you have more questions call a pro.Chimneys and proper venting are serious concerns and nothing should be second-guessed when it comes to this stuff.
