I need an honest answer please?

I am 15 years old, a straight A honors student, and i never get in trouble. Yesterday though, my stepmom pushed me over the edge and i ended up shattering her car's windshield with a baseball bat. She called the police and i was arrested for it, and spent about 8 hours in jail. My stepmom and dad have been giving me soo much **** for the past few years and everything that have done to me has driven me crazy, and i found out the "counsler" they hired wasnt even a licensed counsler, and they were paying him 400 dollars an hour to come to my house and basically brainwash me. Now i am deciding to go to court to live with my mom full time, and I want everything to go back to normal, but now i have a criminal record. I wanted to be a neurosurgeon when I grew up, and i was on my way to getting a scholarship to any university i wanted to go to. do you think this incident will ruin the rest of my life. please be honest
