Why barely any snow this winter (for those on the east coast)?
For the last two winters there was only one significant snow fall each winter with snow not aculating more than 6 inches. That I consider an average snow storm. I live in Virginia and I know that is consider a little south but we do get considerate snow fall. The last big satisfying snow fall I remember was the winter of 2002 in February when we got about 18 to 24 something inches of snow and we got a week off of school because of that. Is it because of El Nina or El Nino? I thought it was only suppose to affect only one winter at a time, not two. Will next winter be snowier? Or is it just global warming. Is there any website explaining this or predicting which winters? I couldn't find any on google.
