Why are droughts & hot weather signs of global warming yet record freezes & snow storms are not global cooling?

Everybody that has spend 1/2 a day in a science cl understands that these events are all natural occurring and that have happened many times before however these people seem to think that a few summer weather events are signs of global warming doom! These alarmist warmies are deliberately confusing the public (Al La Al Gore) therefore it is only logical for the public to wonder why the record cold weather isnt a sign of global cooling.
