Way To Power Computer Case Fans Without Motherboard?

I am tired or laptop coolers that do not fit my Asus G50-vt. I almost always use my computer at my desk and it is a fairly cheap and thin desk. My idea is to cut a hole a little smaller than the size of my laptop and use blue led case fans to fill the hole and act as a cooler for my laptop. The blue glow will be just an added plus. I have an old power supply from a computer I had in a basement but when I went to go buy case fans I noticed all the connectors were the three or four pins connector for attaching the fans cable to a motherboard. Since I am not actually building a computer with a case or a motherboard I simply would like to know how I could power blue LED case fans so that I could put them in my desk as a laptop cooler. If you could include how I could also put a switch into this system that would also be wonderful. I would like to be able to power roughly 4-6 case fans, be able to plus whatever is supplying them with power into a standard US wall plug, and would like to be able to flip a switch or push a on to turn them on/off. Any and all help is appreciated! Thank You!
