Is Africa in my Blood an Autobiography?
The full title of the book is "Africa in my Blood: An Autobiography in Letters: The Early Years". Written by chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall, it contains letters she wrote from childhood to when she grew up and published her first major book, and her personal commentaries, so yes it is an actual autobiography. This isn't a stupid question by the way. You wouldn't believe how many people believe that "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman" and "Memoirs of a Geisha" are actual life stories of real people. Both are novels, the first written by Ernest J. Gaines, and the second book by Arthur Golden. But Jane Goodall is real, she wrote the book, and she is quite alive and still busy.
