I think I got my period?? maybe?

Okay so earlier I went to the bathroom to pee and there was this brownish/reddish rust colored stuff on my panties. It was kinda wet. Did I get my period? I'm pretty sure this is what it is but I just wanted to make sure before i got tell my mom aunt flow just came and she's all like oh my babys a woman now. so yeahh. thanks in advance. :D happy new years. lol.
