How can I thaw a cheesecake quickly without ruining it?

I forgot to take the cheesecake out to thaw before having it for dessert after tonight's dinner? How can I quickly thaw it without having it all soggy or without the possibly of it making me sick if I microwave it on defrost? Any ideas? Thanks!
