Can you apply (and be admitted) to a university if you are under 18 and got your GED?

I am not interested in doing my senior year of high school, but I will be 17 at the end of the end of the year, making me able to get my GED. I am a good student (I currently have a 4.1) and don't know whether or not I would be accepted to a university such as UC Boulder or SDSU as a freshman, not just a student, without an official high school diploma.
