1950s or 1960s Sci-Fi movie?

I am looking for the name of a 1950s or 1960s Sci-Fi film I saw once. The movie takes place mostly on a space station above earth. By the end the station is infested with some kind of alien slime monsters that you can't shot, if you do the monsters just multiply into more monsters. The astronauts then destroy the space station to prevent the monsters from getting to earth.
